to Help Needy Children


The Singapore Star Wars community from Starwars.sg and the 501st Legion
Singapore Garrison has organised a fund-raiser 'Wish Upon The Stars' to
benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation (Singapore) to auction personalised
Star
Wars helmets from celebrities, artist and prominent figures in
Singapore on
eBay Inc. Singapore-born, Taiwanese pop sensation
Lin Jun Jie, popular local
actor Adrian Pang, and Mr Teo Ser Luck Mayor,
North East District, Senior
Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Community
Development, Youth and Sports
& Ministry of Transport, and Toy Designer
DEVILROBOTS are amongst the 12
stars who have left their creative marks
and loving touch on the widely
recognised Clone Troopers helmets.

Proceeds will help grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.

The fund-raising effort is held in conjunction with the Singapore Toy, Games
and Comic Convention 2009 organised by PI Events where the 12 uniquely
helmets were showcased at the convention from 13 - 16 August 2009.

The helmets will be auctioned through our online marketplace partner, eBay
Inc, for a 7-day auction, and ending on 31 August 2009.
