Land of the Lost

is directed by Brad Silberling, of Casper, City of Angels, Moonlight Mile, Lemony Snicket, and 10 Items or Less previously. "Saturday Night Live" writer Dennis McNicholas and "Entourage" writer Chris Henchy together wrote the screenplay for the film, which is a remake of a 1970's TV show of the same name. Universal's Land of the Lost hits theaters everywhere this summer on June 5th.

MOO verdict: 50% will see when i am free or having "down enconmy" mood cos' we are lost :P

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
is directed by big action filmmaker Stephen Sommers, of The Jungle Book, Deep Rising, The Mummy, The Mummy Returns, and Van Helsing previously. The screenplay was co-written by both Stuart Beattie, of Collateral, Derailed, and 30 Days of Night, and Skip Woods, of Swordfish and Hitman. The movie is based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe line of toys that first debut in 1964. Paramount will premiere G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra in theaters everywhere on August 7th, 2009 this summer.

MOO verdict: 100% will see how bad they might screw my childhood cartoon heroes :P

Star Trek
is directed by J.J. Abrams (of "Lost" and Mission: Impossible III) and is written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (of The Island, Mission: Impossible III, Transformers, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen). This is the 11th movie in the Star Trek universe, following most recently Star Trek: Nemesis in 2002. Star Trek is set to land in theaters everywhere on May 8th, 2009 this summer!

MOO verdict: 100% will see cos i am a trekker :P

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
is again directed by action film superstar Michael Bay of Bad Boys, The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Island, and Transformers previously. The story and screenplay for the sequel was written by Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci as well as Ehren Kruger (The Ring, The Brothers Grimm, Blood and Chocolate). Paramount is unleashing Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen in both IMAX and regular theaters on June 26th this summer.

MOO verdict: 100% must see, another 100% tells me not to see :P cos' after watching will have the urge to buy more TF toys...anyway just watch it!!! Else, there might not be other/any top budget sci-fi hollywood movies left during the gloomy years to come.

Pixar's Up
is directed Pete Docter, who also directed Monsters, Inc previously in addition to writing the stories for Toy Story and Toy Story 2. The film is co-directed and written by Bob Peterson, who wrote Finding Nemo previously. Disney is planning to debut up in theaters everywhere on May 29th, 2009 next summer.

MOO verdict: 100% must see, pixar never fails to entertain me with their stories.

(IMHO) There's too many negative headlines everyday, so we should be expecting more comedy or B grade movies for the coming months of endurance.
